Customer Reviews.I recently upgraded to a new build, my first one being a case that had 5 120mm fans installed (not including the 140mm CPU fan) and even though they were top grade Noctua fans, the decibel level was noticeable even with a fan controller to adjust speeds. With the new setup I have a Cooler Master HAF912 which gives the option to install 2 200mm fans vs. 4 120's. Most folks know that with bigger fans you don't need the speed of the smaller 120's to push the same or better volume of air, so it made sense both in CFM's and noise level to go with 200's and the difference is audibly pleasant (not to mention temp-wise). As a side note, the only frustrating thing is that the stock 120mm fans that come with CM cases (this one had two) are no doubt the units that don't pass QA inspections so are shipped to the CM case builds, because they both are noisemakers and I've replaced them with two Scythe fans. But can't complain about the dual 200's I bought. One mounted in front for intake and one at the top for exhaust. Good buy.

Cooler Master 120mm Silent Case Fan 4-in-1 Value Pack - (R4-S2S-124K-GP)

I did not purchase fans for use in a PC case but used for Denon AV/receiver that was getting blistering hot when playing at extremely high volumes listening to music. Using two of the fans on top pulling the heat. These fans are quiet but when watching a movie you really don't want any back ground noise. So I also purchased fan controllers to reduce the noise. The fan controller did not work to well with the fans due to the already slow rpm motor. I did notice a little improvement in noise level at lowest setting. Don't expect a high CFM flow though. If you're looking for a well built quality quiet 120mm fan at a very cheap price for 4 at the price you might pay for 1 or 2 this is a great deal.

Whisper quiet with moderate airflow. These fans are large 120mm and even though they don't spin extremely fast they move a lot of air. I have one taking in air over my hard drives, one taking air in from the case side, and one exhausting the air from the back of the case. Even while gaming the internal temperature of my system stays cool. They use a 3 pin connection, which was the primary reason for selecting this fan.

Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm Blue LED Computer Case Fan (R4-L2R-20AC-GP)

When you buy a cooler master product you know you can't go wrong. I bought one of the 120mm green led fans plus one with red leds and another one with blue leds. They work like a charm. Quiet and reliable. I'm very happy with them and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I have worked on computers since before the first PCs were available, so I am leery of products that look good, but can't do the work. A friend recommended this fan because he liked the look - kinda Sci-Fi. I have worked on far too much that looked great, but didn't do the job at all well. I bought 2 and was somewhat less leery when I saw the 8-bladed fans with a good solid pitch. I was hoping the 2 would knock my CPU temp down 10 degrees C. They have more than doubled that - these fans are almost silent, but with a good high speed and excellent air moving characteristics. If you need excellent cooling fans, I strongly recommend you get these fans.
